It does not govern third-party websites or services that we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

- Business and project details, such as business name, suburb, industry, current website, selected services, budget range, timing and project notes.
- Audit information, including the business, location and business type you ask us to review, together with publicly available website and business listing information.
- Technical information, such as IP address, request times, browser or device information, security events and server logs.
- Communications and any other information you choose to provide when corresponding with us.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have agreed to receive it.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you through our forms and communications, automatically when our website processes a request, and from publicly available sources used to prepare an audit. Those sources may include Google business information, public business websites and website performance services.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
- prepare indicative estimates, audits, proposals and agreed services;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and services;
- prevent misuse and enforce request limits;
- maintain business records and meet legal obligations; and
- protect our rights, users and systems.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. Who we share information with
We disclose information only when reasonably needed for the purposes above. This may include providers that help us host and secure the website, deliver email, process enquiries, or obtain public audit data. Our current providers include Cloudflare, Google and Resend.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or law enforcement where required or permitted by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and safety.
6. Overseas processing
Some service providers operate global infrastructure. As a result, information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate.
Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and to require appropriate handling of personal information. Privacy protections in another country may differ from those in Australia.
7. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Contact and quote records may be retained in our email and business systems for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, keep business records or meet legal obligations. Audit results may be cached for up to 14 days, and technical counters or logs may be retained for the shorter periods needed for security, troubleshooting and usage limits. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to legal obligations and backup cycles.
8. Cookies, analytics and technical logs
We do not currently use advertising cookies on this website. Our hosting and security providers may process technical request data and maintain logs necessary to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce analytics, marketing cookies or materially different tracking, we will update this policy and any consent controls required by law.
9. Access, correction and deletion
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or request deletion where appropriate, by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity. In some circumstances the law permits or requires us to refuse a request or retain information; if that happens, we will explain why where we can.
10. Privacy complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us with enough detail to investigate it. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time.
